As you all know by now, the fan club membership packets will be arriving at your doors soon. In these packets those of you who have signed up for ARVLFC memberships will find two special buttons; these buttons are only being issued to members of the fan club. These buttons are special for a multitude of reasons, chief among them is that Lestat has decided that the most fabulously costumed guests who are spotted wearing those buttons may just get a surprise gift from the Brat Prince himself! Lestat will have his personal Emissaries roaming the crowd looking for the best costumed fan club members and handing out special exclusive door-prizes that no one else will be able to receive. These are items that will be produced one-time only and only the most fabulously costumed members displaying one of these buttons may be selected to receive them. There are two different styles of buttons, just choose the one that suits you best and wear it on the night of the party. Show your pride and wear your button! Show the world that you are a member of the Coven of The Vampire Lestat!

You see, membership really does have it's privileges.

For you naughty children out there who haven't signed up for your memberships yet, now is the time to do so. Tickets for the Ball will be going on sale in the very near future and fan club members not only get first dibs on those but they also get them at a substantial discount over the price for the general public. So, what are you waiting for? Get your membership, get your button, get your ticket, and come to the Ball in your best costume! You never know what Dark Gift may fall in your path.

Hello everyone,

Suzie Q sends her regards to all of you, as does Lestat. They have both been very busy of late with all the preparations for this year's Ball. Never fear though, their friendly helpers are always here to help you with questions and information. Membership packets are still awaiting the bumperstickers before they can be sent out. They are all prepared and addressed but they are waiting on that final item. Suzie will be adding a little lagniappe to the envelopes to thank you all for being so patient while things get off the ground.

Party preparations continue on-course with special guests being confirmed and such. To date, we have author Sherrilyn Kenyon joining us as well as Midnight Syndicate joining us in a non-performing guest appearance for the evening. We are waiting to hear from some others to see if they will be able to join us for the night. Don't forget, the party is at 9 p.m. on the night of Friday, October 26, 2007, at the Howlin' Wolf in fabulous New Orleans, Louisiana! Our theme for this year is the Anne Rice novel 'The Witching Hour' and our title this year is "The Witching Hour Ball". Everyone is encouraged to become the Mayfair Witch of their choosing, or any other wonderful vampire, ghost, demon, or werewolf that they like for this special event. Tickets will be going on sale soon and are $20 for ARVLFC members and $30 for the general public, they are expected to sell out. Hotel accomodations are still available but start to dwindle as we get this close to the party. While we have no official hotel for the Ball, one may find many recommendations in our discussion forums.

Oh, don't forget that we will have substantial charitable raffles and auctions going on with proceeds going to Habitat for Humanity-New Orleans.

On Friday, October 26th, The Mayfair Wiches meet The Vampire Lestat! Now THAT'S going to be one HELL of a party!

Well, Lestat has had a few inquiries over the last few days concerning the location of your fan club packets and he is in quite the mood. Suzie has asked that we inform you that your packets have been assembled and are awaiting a couple of final things before mailing in order to save on shipping costs. Bumper stickers are still on order and we assure you that the Brat Prince has expressed his distress to the manufacturer; good thing it's not Claudia they are dealing with at that manufacturing facility. Also, some of the couples who got memberships did not include both names for said couples. If you feel that that may be an issue for you please email Suzie here at the club and let her know posthaste.
